I promise, this will be the last entry about the Star Wars piece, or else I'll change the name of the blog to StarWarsFam.
But I thought you would want to know that the bidding has ended at $66.99. I went to bed last night with less than 2 hours remaining in the auction, and at that point, the leading bid was $16.50. I guess that is pretty typical for eBay, to have the main bidding take place at the very end.
So, I believe that, after the commission, we'll get about $43 of the sale price. Deduct the $27 it cost us to mail the piece to the dealer, and we will have made $16. Okay, it's not much, but with gas at it's current price, I figure the first quarter tank is on them!
