We've made all our hotel reservations for the trip now, but we had to make one change in our itinerary. Instead of staying in Pittsburgh on June 12th, as we had planned, we will be staying in Canfield, Ohio.
It turns out that the U.S. Open Golf Tournament is taking place near Pittsburgh that week, so there was no room at the inn (pretty much any inn!). It doesn't really matter. Our plan is to visit Frank Lloyd Wright's Fallingwater near Pittsburgh, and then see what our energy level is. If we feel energetic, we'll stop in Pittsburgh for a few hours. If not, we'll just continue right on to the hotel in Canfield.
We've really enjoyed previous visits to Pittsburgh, but (sorry Liz!) we don't see it as a critical stop.
